Save the image at the photo's own size.
Bangla that comes out right
Many apps break Bangla's joined letters, so ক্ষ, ন্ত or ক্র come out in pieces. ChobiKit draws text with your browser's own text engine, which joins them as they should be, and every font here is tested for it in Chrome, Firefox and Safari.
Six Bangla fonts
| Anek Bangla | Clean and modern, from thin to bold |
|---|---|
| Hind Siliguri | Plain and easy to read, regular and bold |
| Baloo Da 2 | Round and friendly, for posters |
| Tiro Bangla | Traditional, like a printed book |
| Noto Serif Bengali | Formal, with serifs |
| Galada | Flowing, for greetings |
Each also has English letters. A font downloads only when you pick it.
Make it stand out
White letters with a black outline read on any photo. Add a shadow, turn the text, or use your own colour. Add as many texts as you like and move each one by dragging, with the arrow keys or with the move buttons.
Frequently asked questions
How do I add text to a photo?
Choose the photo, type your words, pick a font, colour and size, and drag the text where you want it. Then press Save image.
Can I write in Bangla?
Yes. Type in Bangla with your phone's or computer's keyboard; the six Bangla fonts join conjuncts such as ক্ষ, ন্ত and ক্র correctly.
Why do Bangla letters break in other apps?
Some apps draw letters one by one instead of shaping them as a word. ChobiKit uses the browser's text engine, which shapes Bangla properly.
Can I add more than one text?
Yes. Press Add text for each one; pick a text to change it, or delete it.
Will the photo lose quality?
It is saved at its own size in pixels, as JPG, PNG or WebP, the photo's own format where it can be.
Can I use the fonts for my shop's poster?
Yes. All six are under the SIL Open Font License, which allows commercial use of what you make with them.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The text is drawn in your browser, and nothing is sent to a server. It is free, with no sign-up.
