Privacy policy

Last updated: 3 October 2026

ChobiKit is a free set of image tools: resize, compress, crop and convert images, make exam and job photos and signatures, and remove backgrounds. This policy explains what happens to your images and your information when you use chobikit.com.

Your images stay on your device

  • Every tool works inside your browser. Your photos, your signatures and the files you make are never uploaded to us or to anyone else.
  • The background remover and the face finder are AI models that your browser downloads from our site and runs on your device. Your image is never sent anywhere to be processed.
  • When you close the page, your images are gone. We can't see them, keep them or share them.

What we collect

  • We don't ask for your name, email or phone number, and there are no accounts.
  • We don't use any analytics or tracking tools of our own.
  • Your browser remembers two settings on your device: the colour theme you chose and, if you tried it, which editor you prefer. They never leave your device, and clearing your browser's data for this site removes them.

Hosting

ChobiKit runs on Cloudflare. Like any website host, Cloudflare receives technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, your browser type and the page you asked for, to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Advertising

ChobiKit is free because its pages show ads from Google AdSense. Ads are never part of the tools, and your images are never shared with advertisers.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to show ads based on your earlier visits to this website or to other websites.
  • Google's advertising cookies let Google and its partners show you ads based on your visits to this site and to other sites on the internet.
  • You can turn off personalised ads in Google's Ads Settings. You can turn off other vendors' personalised ads at www.aboutads.info.
  • Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
  • If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you are asked for your consent before personalised ads or advertising cookies are used, and you can change your choice at any time.

Children

ChobiKit is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If ChobiKit adds a feature that needs your image to be sent to a server, such as higher-quality background removal, that feature will say so clearly, and this policy will be updated before it starts. The date at the top shows when this policy last changed.
