How it finds the ink
No AI model is needed, so it starts at once and works on any phone. The tool evens out the paper's shadows, separates ink from paper by how dark each part is, and drops specks and the paper's edge. Your pen's own colour, black or blue, is kept.
Getting a clean result
- Sign with a dark pen on plain white paper, and photograph it from above in daylight.
- Fill most of the photo with the signature.
- Choose White to get it on a clean white background instead, or a colour.

How do I remove the background from a signature?

Will the background be transparent?
Yes. The paper becomes transparent and only the ink stays, so the PNG sits on any document or colour.
Does it keep my blue ink?
Yes. The ink keeps the colour it has in the photo, black or blue.
Can I get it on white instead?
Yes: choose White under the background. That gives a clean signature on plain white, as a JPG or PNG.
Why does it say no signature was found?
The ink was too light or too small in the photo. Sign darker, move the phone closer so the signature fills the photo, and use plain white paper in good light.
Is my signature uploaded?
No. It is processed in your browser and never sent to a server. It is free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
